There are many tips and strategies that you can find in the Internet about craps but it’s rare that you’d get to find tips and strategies that consider the emotional factor as well.
We won’t make the same mistake in this article, we assure you! We are aware - as you all are – that craps is a game dependent on luck so it’s important not only to consider the odds but how players feel about certain bets as well. Wasn’t there a time that you sensed something about a bet and ended up winning?
That’s what we’re talking about and that’s what’s going to make our tips very much different from everything else you’ve read on the Internet!

The Pass Bet
This is what I always term as the easiest bet to make in the craps table and if you’re the type to play it safe, the Pass Bet is your best chance on winning.
The Don’t Pass Bet
When you’re playing in land-based casinos, not everyone is willing or have the courage to take the Don’t Pass Bet because you’ll be basically betting against the shooter and everybody else in the table. So when the shooter loses, you have reason to rejoice and vice versa.
Make the Don’t Pass Bet only if you have reason to dislike the shooter. The odds are not that favorable with this type of bet so you’d have to count on something like luck to make the Don’t Pass Bet work for you.
The Hardway Bet
A lot of craps players love to joke about the Hardway Bet, saying that it’s named such because it’s simply hard to win.
That’s unfortunately true. We greatly advise you to make a Hardway Bet only when you’re feeling EXTREMELY lucky or when you get that tingling feeling, signaling that something great is about to happen!
The Come Bet
We suggest that you take the Come Bet if you have the feeling that the odds are against you and you want to be extra sure that your bet will win.
The Buy Bet
Make the Buy Bet is you usually have a favorite number that rarely fails you. In craps, the numbers 4 and 10 are the general favorites of craps players since they tend to pay off better. For your Buy Bet to win, the number you bought must come up before a 7 is rolled out.
